High Performing People

Do you want -
High Performing People?

Change the ones you have - replace those who won’t change. There are certain characteristics of high performing people, and these characteristics lead to high performing behaviours. People who do not have the high performing characteristics, but wish to be high performers, can elect to perform the behaviours as though they did have the characteristics. Organisations that wish to elevate certain people to high-performers can offer to those people a behavioural modification program (they have to agree - for it to work)

Some of the characteristics and associated behaviours listed, and you can add according to your own experience. The listed characteristics are not sourced from formal personality items or from any characteristics model, but from employers and recruiters:

The characteristics that are valued by an organisation, providing those values are known, can guide individual choices and behaviours - “which behaviours get rewarded?”. Rewarded behaviours - get done.

Self assessment of such personal progress is difficult, so it needs to be built in to development and reward programs (appropriate rewards). Development of high performing people will require active mentoring and/or coaching arrangements.

Deltapoint can assist getting a functional mentoring program going. We can also offer coaching at any level.
