Resilience

Low organisational ‘resilience’ means there is limited ability for the organisation as a whole to bounce back from the stress caused by hard knocks. The same applies to personal resilience of the members within the organisation. Although there is no known research on the matter, we suggest that it is unlikely you can have organisational resilience without also having individual resilience.
Organisation resilience is achieved by being adaptable and flexible enough to fit within the changing operational environment. Resilience at organisational level is assessed by looking at recovery from setbacks.
Personal resilience is seen in much the same way - recovery from setbacks. Resilience of individuals is also measurable by instrument. Contact corporate and organisational psychologists for assistance in assessing both levels of resilience.
In the meantime, consider looking at the following background material.
