What are results?

In the context of our work with organisations, ‘results’ can refer to either the 'ends' or the 'means' (actions) that produce the ends.

Where we undertake to assist you with a process towards an intended outcome – such as Strategic Conversation or Workforce Planning – then we are working together with you to develop, refine, trial, document and embed a process that will be used and re-used by your people – the result being that the skills learned stay within your organisation.

Where we undertake to assist you to develop an end product, usually some kind of plan or report – such as with Strategic Planning and Strategic Risk Planning – then the result will be the facilitated development of that draft document to be used and refined by your organisation.

Where you or your delegates participate in a workshop – such as the King Hit Workshops – then the result will be in the changed behaviour of the delegates, according to previously agreed measures and supported by our assistance. Our involvement includes follow-up at agreed times in ‘the extra mile’ component.

Where you contract our services – such as in Counselling, EAP, or Mediation - results will be defined in the initial agreement we make with you in setting up the service.

 

As a business, our strategic intention is to work with organisations to assist them to develop the skills and environment to improve both performance and the quality of work / life for their members. Our interest is in outputs – what can be realistically and practically delivered that will achieve your aim, and in outcomes – how you can use the learning in further organisational and individual development
